The Chonburi Department of Public Health announced 155 new and confirmed cases of Covid-19 today, June 27th.

This makes a total of 7,682 cases of Covid-19 in the current round of infections, with 2,359 still under medical care/supervision, and with a total of 42 recorded deaths in Chonburi since the start of this recent round of infections in early April.
Additionally, 5,281 people in total have now been released from medical care and fully recovered since this current wave began. 72 people were released yesterday.
The district-level new cases were as follows today:
Mueang Chonburi 48, Si Racha 28, Banglamung 25, Panat Nikhom 3, Sattahip 7, Ban Bueng 19, Pan Thong 9, Bor Thong 2, Ko Chan 2, and two new cases transferred from other provinces for medical care.
The details on the cases are as follows:
1. Proactive search in Phan Thong District and surrounding area-16 new cases
2. Proactive search Pongsak Market Mueang Chonburi District-12 cases
3. Surveillance of market areas at the Thetsaban Hua Khua Market, Ban Bueng District, 5 cases
4. Proactive testing, new market, Mueang Chonburi District, 3 cases
5. Proactive testing, Sattahip morning market, 2 cases
6. Close contacts (from a private drinking circle) 2 cases
7. Proactively search at an establishment in the Phan Thong District, 1 case
8. Foreign Workers Camp, JWS Company, Si Racha District, 1 person
9. Foreign Workers Camp (Link to the Foreign Workers Camp, Standard Performance Company Limited, Khao Khan Song Subdistrict Sriracha District) 1 case
10. Traveling a lot from risky areas in Bangkok, 1 case
11. Traveling a lot from risky areas in the Chachoengsao Province 1 case

13. Close contacts under investigation 38 cases
14. Currently under investigation in general-33 cases
A total of 369 close contact searches were received today with 3,982 initial proactive searches, and more proactive search reports are pending.
The Chonburi Governor, Phakkhrathon Thianchai, ordered the closure of two construction workers camps on Friday, June 25th, 2021, to control the spread of Covid-19.
Additionally, more closures were ordered last night by the Governor including the Pongsak market.
